SCRAMBLE GOLF TOURNAMENT -
2008
Baytowne Course - Sandestin Golf Club
NCPA’s annual scramble golf tournament is set for Monday, May 5, with
a 12:30 p.m. modified shotgun start on The
Baytowne Course, Tom Jackson's second creation at Sandestin Golf &
Beach Resort.
Baytowne originally opened for play in 1984 before undergoing its latest
renovation in 2005. The rolling fairways of this course are lined with
tall pines and lead to large, undulating greens that are moderate in
speed. Water comes into play on twelve holes and the entire course is
heavily bunkered. Baytowne is a par 71 course, and plays from 3,002 to
6,804-yards and offers five sets of tees.
Baytowne Golf Club, a premier choice among the extensive offerings of
golf courses in Northwest Florida, now brings a fresh face to its familiar
layout. Expansively renovated in the summer of 2005 by original course
architect Tom Jackson, this Florida golf course, twice hailed by Golf
Digest’s Places to Play with 4 ˝ Stars, is even more exciting.
With a routing that takes guests from the beach to the bay, and boasts
some of the only elevation change in the area, Baytowne Golf Club is as
forgiving from the forward tees as it is challenging from the championship
ones.
The addition of a fifth set of junior tees makes this Florida golf
course a great place for beginners to learn the game, or pick up the pace
for an afternoon executive round.
The fee for the tournament is $145 per player, which includes a box
lunch, green fees, shared cart, range balls & range shuttle service.
You should make arrangements for your own rental clubs. Each player will be responsible for
arranging his or her own transportation to and from the links. Please
check with other members of your team to ensure that all will be arriving
in time.
If you need rental clubs, be sure to note that on the registration form.
No refunds for golf will be given after April 4, 2008.
