ECONOMIC ANALYSIS AND FEASIBILITY OF COTTONSEED OIL AS A BIODIESEL FEEDSTOCK

Texas Tech researchers Terry Collins and James Simonton recently completed a study looking at cottonseed oil's viability as a biodiesel feedstock.  The study, funded jointly by the Texas Cottonseed Crushers Association and National Cottonseed Products Association, involved two phases - cost modeling of cottonseed oil based biodiesel and performance testing of cottonseed oil based biodiesel.
